Effective 1 August 2026
Hooplan (hooplan.k9tmrs.com) is operated by K9 TMRS LTD, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC810411) with its registered office at St Kilda Cottage, 25 Balgove Road, Gauldry, Newport-on-Tay, Fife, DD6 8SH, United Kingdom. You can reach us at help@k9tmrs.com. By using Hooplan you agree to these terms.
Hooplan is a web app for designing Hoopers dog agility courses: you lay out obstacles, and the app draws the dog’s expected running line, checks the design against course organisations’ published rules and guidelines, and suggests judging positions. It works on desktop and phone, keeps a copy of your courses on your own device, and syncs them to your account when you’re signed in.
Hooplan’s checks are guidance based on our reading of published rulebooks. They are a design aid, not a ruling: the current official rulebooks and the judges and organisations that apply them are always the authority, and rules can change after we last updated ours. Verify any course against the official rules before using it at an event. Hooplan is not affiliated with or endorsed by any course organisation.
Your account is a K9 TMRS account: the same sign-in works across Hooplan and our other apps, and any subscriptions you hold with us sit on that one account, each billed and cancelled separately. You sign in with an email magic link or with Google. Keep control of that email account — anyone who can read your email can sign in as you — and let us know if you think someone else has used your account. If you’re under 18, use Hooplan only with a parent or guardian’s permission.
The courses you design are yours. You give us just the permission we need to run the service: storing your courses, syncing them between your devices, and — only when you create a share link — showing the shared course to people you give the link to. We don’t use your courses for anything else.
A share link makes that course readable by anyone who has the link, including copying it into their own library and printing it. Your tags and folders never travel with a share. Deleting a share link stops it working; copies others have already made remain theirs.
The free plan keeps your two most recent courses editable, prints with a watermark, and doesn’t create new share links. Hooplan Pro removes those limits, at the price shown at checkout, billed through Stripe as a subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from the billing portal in the app; your plan then runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for. If you’re a consumer you can also cancel within 14 days of first subscribing for a full refund — just email us.
Downgrading never deletes anything: courses over the free limit simply become read-only until you subscribe again. If we change Pro pricing, we’ll tell you in advance and the new price applies from your next renewal.
Don’t use Hooplan to break the law, don’t try to access other people’s accounts or data, don’t attempt to disrupt or overload the service, and don’t bulk-harvest shared courses. We may suspend or close accounts that do, telling you why unless we legally can’t.
We work to keep Hooplan available and your data safe, but the service is provided as-is: we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, add or remove features. Because Hooplan keeps a local copy of your courses on your device, short outages don’t stop you designing.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability we can’t exclude by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we’re not liable for business losses or for losses that weren’t a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms, and our total liability to you is limited to what you’ve paid us for Hooplan in the 12 months before the claim.
You can stop using Hooplan whenever you like, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data by emailing us. We can end or suspend the service for accounts that break these terms, and if we ever discontinue Hooplan we’ll give you reasonable notice so you can print or save your courses.
If we change these terms we’ll update the date at the top, and we’ll flag significant changes in the app. Using Hooplan after a change means you accept the updated terms.
How we handle personal data across everything K9 TMRS does — including Hooplan — is described in our privacy policy.
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you’re a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protections of your home law, and you can bring a claim in your home courts.
