Hooplan is a web app for designing Hoopers courses. Lay out the hoops, barrels, tunnels and gates; Hooplan draws the dog’s running line, checks the layout against your organisation’s rulebook, suggests where to stand to judge it, and prints the judge sheet.
No account needed to look around. Two courses free. Or start from a free course plan for your level.

Place the obstacles and Hooplan draws the line the dog will actually take, so you can see the flow of the course before you walk it.
Gaps, approach and departure angles, ring boundaries, no-immediate-return, wrong-course temptations and per-class equipment, all against your organisation’s own rulebook.
Hooplan suggests where to stand to see every obstacle it needs to judge, and shows you what each position can and cannot see.
Sketch a line freehand and Hooplan fills in hoops at legal spacing for the level. A training-night course takes about two minutes.
The same designer on a phone, plus an AR mode that stands the course up at real scale in the ring or the garden.
A judge print sheet from the browser, and share links that open a read-only copy for your class, your committee or another judge.
Judges designing a course that has to be legal on the day. Instructors and clubs building a training-night course per level and sending it to the class group as a link. Competitors setting up practice courses at home and walking them in AR.
Free - two courses, with watermarked prints. Pro, £4 a month or £40 a year - unlimited courses, clean prints and share links. You sign in with a free K9 TMRS account, using Google or a magic email link; the same account works across everything we make.
BK9 (Rules & Regulations 4.2, July 2026, plus the Judging Guidelines) and Canine Hoopers UK 2026. Every course carries its organisation, and the checks read their numbers - gap bands, angle limits, ring sizes, class equipment - from that organisation’s rule pack.
Yes, for two courses, with a watermark on printed sheets. Pro is £4 a month or £40 a year and adds unlimited courses, clean prints and share links. If you drop back to free, extra courses become read-only - they are never deleted.
No. Hooplan runs in the browser on desktop and phone. Courses save to your own device first, so editing keeps working offline, and sync to your account in the background.
Yes. The phone view has the same capabilities as the desktop designer, and on a supported phone you can walk the course in AR at real scale before a single hoop goes out.
Yes. Hooplan reads Smarter Agility exports and Agility Designer (.zrdgr) files, detects the format for you, and tells you before you commit if anything could not be carried across.
Yes. A share link opens a read-only copy of the course that anyone can view or print, with no account needed, and that a signed-in judge can copy into their own library. Your folders and tags stay private - they never travel with a share.
